    Total quota for School of Engineering was set to 152 by additionally designating 16 students,

    Dr. Owah Park was inaugurated as the University 2nd President.
    
    Construction of the Student’s Hall, the Science Building, the Mechanical Engineering Building the Electronic Engineering Building was completed.
    
    In accordance with Graduate School Quota revision, its entrance quota was revised as below:
    
    For master’s, its total quota was set to 136 students - 5 for School of Humanities and Social Science,
    
    14 for School of Natural Science, and 81 for School of Engineering were increased respectively,
    
    For doctor’s, School of Natural Science and School of Engineering set their quota to 4 and 18 respectively,
    
    For the School-Lab Cooperation Program, 5 students were designated respectively for both its Master’s and Doctor’s quota(Master’s - 3 for Korea Aerospace Research Institute, 2 for Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, Doctor’s - 1 for Korea Aerospace Research Institute, 4 for Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) ,

    Department of Aiation Business Administration was renamed to the Department of Business Administration.

    - Dr. Yang-ho Cho was inaugurated as the 3^rd chairman of the Board of Trustees.

    Graduate School was divided into General Graduate School and Graduate School of Aviation & Management.
    
    School Regulations were modified regarding abolishment of the Maintenance Factory, the Wireless Lab, the Flight Control, and establishment of the Central Research Institute.

  • October 21^st, 1994

    In accordance with Graduate School Quota and Department revision, changes were made as below:
    
    Master’s course for Department of Aviation Business Administration and Aerospace Mechanical Engineering were established with quota of 30 students in total,
    
    13 students(3 masters, 10 doctors) for School-Lab Cooperation Program were newly assigned,
    
    Graduate School of Aviation & Management was established with quota of 40 students,
    
    which includes Department of Aerospace Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Electronics Engineering,
    
    Aeronautical & Industrial Engineering, Radio Sciences & Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Aviation Business Administration.

    In accordance with Undergraduate School Quota revision, two department changed their name as below:
    
    Department of Aviation Management to Department of Air Transport,

    In accordance with Graduate School Quota and School Regulations revision, changes were made as below:
    
    55 master’s students were additionally designated for Department of Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Design, and Computer Science,
    
    15 doctor’s students were additionally designated for Department of Aeronautical Information & Telecommunication Engineering,
    
    8 student were newly designated for the School-Lab Cooperation Program(5 masters, 3 doctors).

    In accordance with Undergraduate School Quota revision, total entrance quota was set to 760 as of following changes:

    Dr. Hyungjae Lee was inaugurated as the University 1^st President.

    In accordance with School Regulations revision, changes were made as below:
    
    Names for the Training School for Aviation Tech and the Saemaul Research Institute were changed to Aviation Tec Institute and Community Development Research Center respectively,
    
    New institutes including the Humanities and Natural Law Research Institute and the Aviation Safety and Management Research Institute were opened.

    The Training School for Aviation Tech was designated as the Special Educational Institution for Flight Practician.

  • January 8^th, 1993

    In accordance with the Articles of University revision, several terms were changed:
    
    Hankuk Aviation College to Hankuk Aviation University, Dean and Vice dean to President and Vice President,
    
    Graduate School Academic and Student Affairs Division to Graduate School Academic and Student Affairs Department.

    Groundbreaking ceremony for the new campus was held.

  • February 29^th, 1992

    Graduate School Regulations was changed to allow honorary doctorate.

    Dr. Choonghoon Cho, the former chairman of the Hanjin Group, was inaugurated as the executive director of the Board of Trustees for the Jungseok Foundation.

    Jungseok Foundation took over National Hankuk Aviation University.

    Entrance quota was set to 300 by designating 100 additional students:

    Air Force ROTC program was established.

    Total entrance quota was increased set to 120 by designating 20 additional more students for each department.

    The Liberal Arts Building was built.

    In accordance with revision of Decree on the Establishment of National chools(Presidential Decree No.2696),
    
    the jurisdiction of National Aviation College was transferred from the Ministry of Transportation to the Ministry of Education, and its name was renewed to Hankuk Aviation University.
    
    Several departments renewed their name with each entrance quota for 20 students:
    
    Department of Flight Operation to Department of Flight Management,
    
    Department of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering to Department of Mechanic Engineering,
    
    Department of Communication & Control to Department of Aeronautical Telecommunication Engineering,

    The Electronics & Telecommunication Building was built.

  • January 19^th, 1965

    In accordance with revision of Decree on the Establishment of National Schools(Presidential Decree No.2039),
    
    entrance requirements were revised to candidates having a high school degree or its equivalent,
    
    and the years for course completion was modified to 4-year.

  • March 31^st, 1964

    In accordance with Notification No.191 of the Ministry of Education,
    
    the school was approved to have a 4-year bachelor’s degree for natural science and engineering.

  • November 22^nd, 1963

    First academic building was built at Hwajeon-dong, Deokyang-gu, Goyang-city, Gyeonggi-do.

  • October 23^rd, 1963

    In accordance with revision of Decree on the Establishment of National Schools(Decree Law No.1605),
    
    changes were made as below:
    
    Reorganized from National Aviation University to National Aviation School,
    
    Entrance requirements were set to candidates having a degree on general natural science and engineering or 2-year college,
    
    Reformed junior and senior course to sophomore course,
    
    Specialized course was made.

    The campus was moved to 40 Hangangro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

    The school was changed into National Aviation College with a 4-year course.

  • October 15^th, 1953

    The campus was moved to Yongsan Campus located 3-65, Hangangno, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
    
    The Dormitory was built.

  • February 1^st, 1953

    Changed into a 3-year course of the National Aviation School. Moved to Bumil-Dong, Busan.

  • June 16^th, 1953

    The school was changed into National Aviation University with a 3-year course.
    
    The campus was moved to Bumil-Dong, Busan.
    
    Mr. Yunhi Kim was inaugurated as the School 1^st principal.

    The Charter for Transport School was granted by the Ministry of Transportation in order to develop civil aviation industry.
    
    The campus was built in Busan during the Korean War.
    
    The school opened with three departments - Department of Flight Operation,
